Payton's great loves: Nursery, Dance Class, Parties, Play groups, and any other new friend he can find- on the street or in a store (we were shopping once and he found a girl who was about three and held her hand through the store until she had to leave) Here is a picture of him at his cousin Macie's birthday party. He gave her a pink back pack with her initials on it. Kade couldn't catch him to get him to put his coat and shoes on to leave. He had to chase him for awhile, and then once caught- he cried!

more things to share...
Payton picked out these cute little "gum" boots at the store and they have since become his favorite! He likes to wear them around the house too. Anyway- they are so cute, and whenever I see the cute little things lying around I just smile. They truly remind me of him in every way. Cute, squishy, straight forward and practical. These are one of those items you save for years just because of the memories attached!

Boys play dress up too.
I was going through clothes that were too small for Payton the other day, and he was helping me fold them and put them in storage. He came across his halloween costume and told me he wanted to dress as a cowboy. He makes a pretty cute one!! His grandpa Bowen has a picture much like this- they definitely look related.

I've been tagged!
Kirii has tagged me, so I get to answer the following questions and then pass it along to a few people. Its a fun way to learn more about each other!
1. My life 10 years ago..... I was in 8th grade and Eagle Middle School. I danced on a Pre-Professional Modern Company in Boise called "Balance" which was an amazing experience! Other than that, it wasn't the time in my life I really LIKE to remember. See, I went through my rebellious stage in 8th and 9th grade- so mostly I can just think of things I regret. Like dating older boys- and I wasn't even 16 yet. What was I thinking??? Sorry mom.
2. 5 things on my to do list today:
Shower- (thats important!)
Laundry- it has really piled up
Type up Young Women's Calendars
Take care of sick Husband (I gave it to him)
Playtime/ Booktime with Payton
3. Things I would do if I suddenly became a Billionaire:
- Build my dream house. Nothing too big, there are just certain things I want it to have.
- Have a savings fund/ inheritance for all my family members
- Save for kids missions, and missions (plural) for Kade and I. Think of them as really long vacations where you get to help people.
- Pay off our debt and the debt of our family members
- Help my parents get their dream art studio/ gallary up and running
- Help with church funds, humanitarian aid, missions, education, etc.
- (This one is for Kade- its his dream) Donate money to BYU Football
4. Jobs I've had:
- Worked as a server and waitress at an Assisted Living facility.
- Secretary at Murdoch Finance
- Teller at Washington Mutual Bank
- Secretary at Alpine Propane
- Dental Assistant for Dr. Kunz in St. Anthony
- Instructor and Choreographer at Dance Tech
- Choreographer for different High School Drill Teams
- Back up Dancer for Concerts
5. Places I've lived:
- Garden City, Idaho
- Rexburg, Idaho
- Idaho Falls, Idaho
6. Things most people don't know about me:
I always had a thing for Native American men. (my family members will attest to that) The older Indian brother in Last of the Mohicans was my fantasy man. But that all changed when I met Kade, then I decided that he was much better!!!
I danced with Weird Al at his concert. It was weird!!! But way fun. I was supposed to be a gothic cheerleader, but my outfit was WAY 80's!!
I tagged-
Kimberly V, and Kara S.

Been awile...
Its been awhile since my last post. I promise I am not being lazy, I have TONS of cute pictures of our Petey that I want to share with friends and family- but I am having bad luck posting pictures. They take forever to upload, and then there is a page error. Its just not working- and I am no computer genious. So- until I get it figured out you will have to form your own mental pictures.
So- here's a little update. Payton is almost two and a half. He is silly and sometimes grouchy. He is at that stage where he acts like he wants to drop his nap (which I am really not ready for) so he is sometimes a little whiney! Oh- and did I mention that he is two???? I think its the age of opposites. "Do you want mommey?"- "No. Daddy." Up, down, inside, outside... you know how it goes.
His favorite things: Right now he is loving Family Home Evening. We have these different packets with fun pictures and games for little kids that go along with the lessons. He will drop ANYTHING to have FHE with us. In fact, he pretty much asks to do it every day of the week. And then I have the contents of all these packets spread all over my house. Its kinda crazy.
Kade bought a motor bike that I think he really likes! It will sit in the garage until all the snow melts and then I am sure he'll be "Big Air" all over again. Payton likes to sit on it because it makes him "tall", but it sure scares him when its started. He runs to hide behind the loveseat which he calls his "castle" until the noise settles down.
Dance competitions begin in March for my dancers and I. From then on out, we have stuff going on pretty much every two weeks. It gets crazy as it is in addition to all our regular classes- but I like it! The out of town time with the girls is so fun, but man- I am always struck with the realization that I am such a home body. I miss my boys after like two hours and am always desperate to get home. I love them so much!
Payton is getting over being sick, I AM sick, and Kade is on the verge. It sounds like every other family out there, but I guess it is the season. Besides that all is well and we look forward to each new day.
All our love to our friends and family, and a special congratulations to Lacey and Brian. Lacey- you will be the cutest little mommy.
Sincerely,
Nicole

Baby Slings
So, my sister was just in town and we were discussing our need to find the ultimate baby sling (mine is for future, hers is for current) So Kirii- this is for you! I told you about the type that wraps around and ties- Kimberly Verhoef- if you have a pattern, let me know k! Otherwise, I found a place to buy them for a decent price (however they is a shortage of fabric variety). Visit http://www.tendercargo.com and look under "baby carriers." There are some fun ones, however the one we were discussing is called the Moby Sling, and you are able to tie it in a variety of ways. Anyone with more fun baby sling options, let me know. For some odd reason my blog isn't allowing comments even though I have enabled them a million times, so if it doesn't let you leave me a message, email me at klinger2003@hotmail.com
